Abstract |
This study aims at recognizing the role of Palestinian university students in development, the extent of their participation in developing the Palestinian community, defining the obstacles faced by them and what is the visionary suggestion to consolidate their participation. Besides to this, it has been necessary to know if there are differences of statistical significance concerning university students' participation in development according to variables like (gender, university, place and specialization). The study is based on a sample consisting of (430 male and female students from Islamic, Al Azhar and Al Aqsa universities) located in the Gaza Strip. Finally, the study concludes that there are no differences of statistical significance according to variables like (gender, place and specialization) in development; but there are differences according to university variables for Al Azhar and Al Aqsa universities at the levels of participation in political development particularly and development generally. |
